3DO, DOMARK ENTER MULTI-YEAR PUBLISHING, DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. ╤ January 24, 1995 ╤ The 3DO Company today announced that it has entered a multi-year Affiliated Label agreement with Domark Software, Inc. granting 3DO distribution rights to all Domark titles for the 3DO(TM) platform in North America. Under the agreement, 3DO may also license the rights to publish and distribute these titles in other parts of the world. Among titles currently in development are Flying Nightmares and Absolute Zero.
"Domark is recognized as the leading developer of flight simulation
software, one of the most popular categories of interactive entertainment,"
said Jim Gregg, 3DO's Vice President of Sales. "Domark titles will appeal to
3DO's target audience, and we expect them to be a significant addition to the
already robust 3DO software library."
Flying Nightmares, a state-of-the-art flight and combat simulation,
features more than 100 objects, vehicles, enemy aircraft, and mission
objectives, rendered in texture-mapped 3-D graphics. Domark's development
team, including an AH-64 Apache attack helicopter pilot and Desert Storm
veteran, created an accurate reproduction of the Harrier's cockpit and
weapon's system delivering the very best in gaming graphics, speed and
smoothness. Flying Nightmares is scheduled to be available in the United
States this spring, followed later in the year by Absolute Zero, a space
combat simulation.

Nightmares, the first true flight simulation for the 3DO platform," said Mike

The 3DO Affiliated Label program is designed to offer a variety of services
to help 3DO licensees bring their products to market. Program services
include distribution, sales, and marketing support for companies developing
titles for the 3DO platform.
